SPEEDBOX configuration software
The SPEEDBOX non-contact speed sensor is highly user-configurable, in order to allow it to be used with as wide a variety of existing data acquisition systems as possible without the user having to reconfigure the DAQ, making it an ideal upgrade for existing systems using 5th wheel or optical sensors: - The pulse output can be configured to output a pulse with a fixed high period of 10 - 1000us, or alternatively a 50% duty cycle, and the number of pulses per meter can be set.
- The scaling of the analogue outputs can be changed.
- The CAN addresses can be set to any legal addresses in either 11 or 29bit addressing mode, and the speed can be set from 125kbps - 1mbps.
- A zero speed clamp can be applied to stop speed output below a user-configurable speed, or can be turned off instead.
- The use of accelerometers can be turned off for situations with large pitch fluctuations, such as speedboat racing.
- For the SPEEDBOX-RTK, the baseline and the baseline tolerance can be set.
All our software is available as a single download which includes all programs and the documentation. This is available for free download here.
