DASH4 PRO Information at a glance with steering wheel mount data displays.

The DASH4 PRO is part of our new PRO racing range of products. Featuring a sealed water proof aluminium body, high quality connectors and a compact profile, it is the ideal partner to match our DL1 PRO.

There are now 2 versions of our best-selling DASH4 PRO, the OLED and the LCD version. Both versions are the same price, have exactly the same features and operate in the same way, but they use different display technology:

The OLED version is ultra high contrast and looks amazing when it's out of direct sunlight.  Generally the best choice for a closed / roofed car.

The LCD version uses transflective technology, meaning it can handle any lighting conditions. Generally the best choice for an open cockpit car or motorcycle.

The DASH4 PRO is designed for steering wheel mounting within all popular sizes of wheel, or alternatively it can be mounted to a flat panel or custom bracket. To check the fit of the unit with your steering wheel a scale drawing is available here.

The DASH4 PRO also features:

• The very latest "OLED" display technology in the OLED version. This has a high resolution, ultra wide viewing angle and wide operating temperature range. OLED gives incredible contrast in low to normal light conditions.
• LCD version is backlit for low light conditions, and uses transflective technology to ensure it remains visible in bright sunlight.
• Display any combination of information, split over 4 pages - display ECU variables, speed, analogue inputs etc.
• Very comprehensive lap timing functions including live "time slip*" and predictive lap times.**
• Configure shift lights to display live time slip, see where you are faster or slower continuously, not just at lap and sector markers.*
• Displays text in small, medium or large text and also can be configured to display graphics, graphs and bar charts.
• Variable brightness, bi-colour dual shift lights.
• Comprehensive alarms which can trigger when any input is out of range.

Note 1:  If DASH3 or DASH3lite is to be used with an early (MK1) DL1 we recommend use of the 1m serial extension cable with external power input, available below.  This allows a separate 12V feed to the DASH3, bypassing the DL1.  Early DL1s sometimes have inadequate power capacity to feed the DASH3, resulting in DL1 or DASH3 shutting off.

Note 2:  If DASH3 or DASH3lite is to be used with an ECU, OBD2 or CAN adapter and no Race Technology data logger you will need the 1m serial extension cable with external power input, available below.  This allows a separate 12V feed to the DASH3 when it is being configured from the PC. 

* DL1 PRO, DL1 MK3 or VIDEO4 required to calculate live time slip.
** Data logger required for lap timing
