The Elise uses the same engine and the "Ignition Pulses per Rev" in the Car Options dialog should be .5 (as well as for the Dash1 and VOB).

VOB oil temp and water temp formula

I've used the VOB config to setup my analog inputs but the VOB is not displaying the correct values; the Analysis program is displaying the correct values. I have both setup as follows: 1: Water temp F 2: Oil Temp F 3: Oil Press PSI 4: Air Temp F Water temp and oil temp are not correct. Here is a vi...

Confirmed, the correct factor is 12 for the US Lotus Elise and the 111R.

Here is an in-car video showing the VOB overlay: http://www.hpaownersclub.com/elise/thil ... 3%2006.wmv

I just confirmed that a factor of 3 in the VOB Setup is not the correct value. It is off by at least a factor of 4; 12 seems pretty close.

There is an error in the documentation for the VOB and Dash1 in relation to RPM display. I believe you will need a factor of three to get the correct value. The input to the VOB is in tenths of 1HZ, so a value of 200 would mean 20 pulses per second, which would be 10 revs per second, or 600 RPM. So...

VOB Analog Input Display

I have several anlaog sensors connected to my DL1 (oil temp, water temp, oil pressure, air temp). I can view them just fine with the Analysis program but the VOB displays seemingly random data. I used the VOB setup program and used the builtin formulas. How do I get the VOB to display the correct an...

I don't follow how you came up with 3???

I had to use 12 to get even close to the correct RPM; it is still a bit low. I'd rather not keep on guessing.

VOB RPM display

How do I get the VOB to display RPM as RPM and not HZ?

I have a 4 cylinder engine so in the Analysis software I use a factor of 0.5.

What is the correct equation in the VOB setup so I get RPM display correctly?

Thanks.

DL1 + VOB + DASH1 possible?

I have the DL1 and VOB, but I'd also like to have the Dash1. Is that possible?
