At my last autocross event I had some issues with auto start triggering when it shouldn't. I was using the same configuration as before (with the 35 km/hr auto start threshold) but it was triggering between when I powered up and when I got to the start line. I'd even reach down and stop it manually,...

Raising the auto stop threshold to 30 (i.e. 3 km/hr) worked like a charm. But after some experimentation I think I'm going to leave auto stop disabled because it seems to take away the ability to manually start logging when the vehicle is stationary (because it immediately stops it). I do like auto ...

Whoops, the problem with the test.run file was with permissions - fixed now. Yes on the 1 minute between GPS lock and insertion of the card. Here's what I did: &...

Thanks for the reply, Jason. I'll give that a shot (defining start/finish/sectors based on one run). However, one issue I've run into seems to be a common one - dealing with GPS drift over time. I'm finding that runs that are only an hour or so apart are several meters off on the start. It's bad eno...

Adding sectors programmatically - issues?
I was autocrossing this weekend and put my DL1 through its virgin runs in my car and in a friend's. I'm doing analysis now, and I can't seem to get run times to make sense relative to the official times at the event. I can get a pretty accurate "start of run" marker by looking at the longi...
