The problem has now been fixed. There was a bug in version 1.9.3 of the Video 4 firmware that prevented it displaying lap times on either the Dash 3 or the video replay. This was the version on the web site untill a few days ago. I have now loaded version 1.9.4 and it works really well. Great product!

Since my earlier posting I have now tried on another Core 2 Duo machine. It works OK. The difference is that the one that won't work is running 64 bit Vista and the other 32 bit Vista. I wonder if there is a major problem running on 64 bit Vista?

I am having the same problem on a Vista machine (HP). I see the logo flash and then nothing. I upgraded my laptop to v7 and it worked fine. I spoke to someone at RT who knew of this problem but said they didn't yet know the cause. I was advised to un-installl and re-install and the problem gets fixe...

Thanks. I found the correction factor in the configuration software under "Configure/RPM" as you said. I had previously been trying to adjust it in the variables section. Setting it to 0.5 (the same as I use for the DL1) is now giving the correct reading. When it works it works well but I ...

I got my Dash 3 yesterday. Nice unit and once I figure it out I think it will be great. However "out the box" it isn't very good at lap timing which I think is probably its main attraction. Because it is so powerful they seem to have overlooked the need to get a default configuration that ...
