Sounds pretty strightforward. Does it need protecting? Will heat shrink do the job?

Dash 2 has no 5V feed?

Yet the sensors require one, so if I'm only using the Dash2, how does that work? :?

I'm trying to do this but only using the Dash 2. Can anyone tell me how it would work as there is no reference voltage from the unit?
