DASH2 wont read when Flash Card inserted in DL1

I have a DL1 along with DASH2. I have it connected to a DTAS80 Ecu through RT's Serial ECU Interface cable. My problem is, that whenever I insert the flash memory card in the DL1, I cannot read any of the ECU serial data on the DASH2 (Water Temp, Oil Temp, Fuel Press, etc). If the flash card is remo...

Switch off un-needed pages on DASH2

I've got a DASH2 and I would like to know how to switch off channels that I do not want to display. For example on page 1 I have oil press, water temp and boost. On page 2 I have oil temp, fuel press, and battery voltage. There are 3 more pages available, and if I accidentally hit the page button (m...

Haltech CAN Interface

Is there any information available from Support on how to connect the DL1 to the Haltech PS1000 ECU via the CAN Interface?

Does'nt really matter. Any one of the 4 inputs will work.

Is it possible to retrofit this feature, along with the 6g accelerometor option to an existing Mk1 DL1?

No pitch, yaw or roll data

Hello, I am using a DL1 and have noticed that some of the standard variable available are pitch, roll and yaw. I record my runs and get good data, except that all these reading along with the appropriate rate info, is basically a flat line on thex,y graph. Has anyone encountered this, and is there a...

Re: battery voltage display problem

I ended up having to use one of the DASH2 input channels. I applied battery voltage to it, and scaled it using y=1x.

Got the spa design ones to work today. Green = Ground (damn english!), red = +5v and black = signal. Had to put a 1k ohm pull up resistor between black and red. Also needed a rare-earth magnet as a target. My only problem is I am getting a speed spike on the Dash2 moh readout. Not sure if it's inte...

Seems I spoke to soon. I set the voltmeter incorrectly. I am getting a 0.3v output with no magnet, and 0v with the magnet. This drop is insufficient to trigger a pulse on the DL1. This is with either a 12v or 5v input to the DL1. Any ideas?

Seems I spoke to soon. Still having problems. I had the voltmeter set incorrectly. I am getting a 0.3v drop to 0v when a magnet breaks the field. This is not enough to trigger the pulse for the DL1. Any ideas?

Got it figured now. The black is ground, red power, and the shielded wire the signal. It does need a magnet to trigger it. Normally it reads 3.2v and when the magnet passes it, it drops to 0v.
