Re: Support
Thank you for the support. I found it. The wire at the inline resistor of the RT bosch water temp sensor broke. The resistor is hidden inside the plug. I had to pry the plug to see the resistor. I re-soldered and it works. Thanks Working the equation out backwards 312 gives -0.3v. The ADC inside the...

Water temp sensor
Any idea why my water temp stays at 312 and it will not move? I'm using dash2, supplied RT bosch sensor & using the Dash2 drop down formula (in degree fahrenheit). The black in ground - the red at 5V grey - white at the dash2 input analog. Do you think the 1K resistor died? It's working before.

Re: Support
The car is a Westfield 7 (lotus 7 replica) powered by Honda (01) S2000 supercharged. It revs up to 9000 rpm. I'm using Honda transmission (6 speed). I don't have a wheel speed sensor except the stock Honda build in VSS at the transmission. My speedo are calculated using the dash2 calculated pulse (t...

Gear indicator not showing
I want to go back to my old problem. I want to show the gear indicator. According to the Dash2 manual, there are two ways to make the gear indicator works. If you have a build in potentiometer (like some of the bike) in the transmission otherwise use the gear calculation and enter the gear ratio. Oh...

Entering air fuel mixture (Volts vs AFR)Picture
Kindly help. I have a AEM ECU, came with UEGO wideband sensor. I have a DASH2 with one analog left. I would like to monitor my AFR by connecting two wires from AEM to my Dash2 analog. Pls. see drawing below. m First question: Is the connection from the drawing will work to Dash2? Second question: In...

I'm still @ version 1.0.111
I have not done any upgrade to my software but thinking of buying other race technology stuff for my dash2.
I saw a version V8 software, will this work to my dash2 without any other hookup option?

I adjusted the angle that the dash was mounted at to get it right. If the the dash is perpendicular to your site line, you won't have any contrast. It needs to be 10-20* lower than your site line. How can I just it when it's installed fix flat at the dashboard? Race technology should do something t...

Dash-2 display too dark at night
Is there any upgrade to make the dash2 display more readable at night?
All you see is blue and no contrast at all.
Worse when you adjust the brightness and become even flat, pale and unreadable. Most dash competitors are bright and easy in the eye but dash2 is crap at night.

Dash2 Wheel speed - maxing to 12,000 pulses
If you have problem in wheel speed maxing out @ 12000 pulses in the dash2, the only solution is to attach a pulse divider. m The unit is very small, half the size of a cigarette pack. Simple connection. There are 4 wires. red (12V) Black (grn) Green input to VSS (vehicle speed sensor) & the whit...

As Jeremy stated, water temp won't work with the OEM sensors as it's resistive based. I tried that with the IAT, and it didn't work. I was able to get the speedo to work fine using the VSS signal, but you have to figure out how many pulses per mile in order for it to work. To do that, I datalogged ...

RT water temp sensor problem
When I turn the ignition on, why my RT water (coolant) temp will start to count 1,2,3 50,99, 101, etc, etc then stop at 312.00 ??
The value will remain @ 312.00 even the water is dead cold.
I'm using the Bosch water temp formula in the drop down at the dash2 software.
