I assume these things do not give a linear output, due to the none regular shape of the tank. Have people managed to get an accurate fuel volume readout from such set ups, generally speaking?

If you have some EE competency, you can also use a LM1815 and a D-flip flop for some frequency division.... I think I'll just drink a bit less (something I DO have great competency in), save up and buy the ready made gizmos. Thanks, I am sure it's easy for an electronics savvy person, but not for me

I assume you need two of the Motec dual channel ones, or FOUR of the RT ones to read all four ABS sensors? If I machined off some of the "teeth" on my ABS rings to leave say 4 equi spaced ones, would a hall effect sensor read them OK then? A hall effect sesnor reads my cam trigger (single ...
