Config help DL1 MK3
I have a new DL1 MK3. When I read the current configuration, and make the needed changes to support my installation, sensors, ECU adapter and dash and then save the changes, I am greeted with a list of errors (6). I found two of the 1. Output drivers used but not enabled in the device This I underst...

Okay - great news that it is working. WRT to why do we use a swap file, it complicated but the short version is although there is lots of memory in your PC there isn't always enough available to applications. Also on older OS's (eg XP which is still very popular) the maximum addressable space is on...

I don't understand why I would disable both the memory card and Serial port? I assume that if the ECU cable is sending the RPM data, I would want that enbaled? No? Please clarify. Nevermind, I figured it out. The DL1 settings are for output of the channel. So to disable the channel, you turn both o...

AEM ECU interface, DL1 and DASH2 Display issues
OK, I have everything working, but I had to work around something and I wanted to know if I should have needed to. I can see the Engine Speed channel using the Lite Monitor. So I know that the ECU is streaming it to the DL1. But when I configure the DASH2 to display it, I get nothing on the DASH2. S...

How to configure an AEM ECU to talk to a RT ECU interface
The AEM ECU is configured from the factory to NOT stream data out the serial port. So to use the RT ECU cable, you have to configure the AEM ECU to stream the data that RT understand. So I thought I would share exactly how to do this as I found this hard to figure out with the limited data posted he...

Dash2 and AEM ECU data scaling?
The default scaling is for the Water temp channel is y= +1x. This will display the temp vaules in Celsuis. I would like to display them in Fahreneit. I know that if X = Celsuis and Y = Fahreneit, then y = x * 1.8 + 32 will give the results need. But how would I enter this into the Dash 2 scaling, en...
