Tony. I also run a 106 with the DL1/Dash2 setup and have calibrated my dash for using the standard VDO fuel gauge.
Drop me a PM if you still need assistance.
Cheers
Ross

VOB unit wanted
Guys I want a RT VOB unit - unfortunately having contacted RT they don't carry these any more and I'm struggling to find one second hand. One came up on ebay the other week for about £150 but I missed it If anyone has one, and doesn't use it - I'd be most grateful if you'd drop me a line. Thanks! R...

Yeah that's what I ended up doing basically - I had an unknown (but quite low) fuel level, so used x=y and left the dash on as I filled the tank in 5 litre increments. After about 35 litres the tank was full , so I converted the voltages into litres in reverse (knowing the end litres to be 45, the s...

I'm fairly sure I've got the wiring right - I can measure resistance increases and decreases as I move the sender, and this is converted correctly into a voltage range when the dash is on (and outputting 5v). I may well have the calibration wrong - that's the bit thats got me confused. Is it also po...

I just did the same thing last friday. Best is to put equation y=x into the dash 2 fuel gauge and then rear voltage every 5litres. then you have to put the values into table and it will generate the equation for you. works for me very well. i have calibrated it to show me litres not percentage of t...

Another dash2 fuel level question
Hi guys Couple of small issues I'm trying to iron out. Easy one first ! Have the dash2 on it's own. Using the 5v output I've got my (vdo) standard fuel level sender showing 1.7v on the wire (full) and 3.8v (empty). Now - I don't seem to be able to convert that into anything meaningful on the dash. I...
