Updating DASH2 FW 9.1.9 to 10.X - Issues?
Hi All I have a DASH 2 I bought way back when Firmware 9.1.9 was supplied. With the newer generation of Analysis, V10 would seem to be a good thing. Are there any issues I should be aware of (don't want to brick it). Would be excellent if there is some damping on the speedo, and a larger divide by a...

Dash 2 Pro Accelerometer calibration
Hi All Just bought a Dash 2 Pro (2nd hand) and for 100 reasons this is installed 'off axis' for the accelerations. I had assumed I would be able to enter an off axis angle in 2 planes and it would 'deal with it'. Before I go off trying to write equations to resolve this, have I just failed to read t...

Re: Dash 2 channel name issue from DL1
Well, who would have thought Windows VISTA had something going for it. Reformatted the card on the VISTA machine, and hey presto the DL1 now reads and writes to it. With that small victory, I also determined why the channel was not appearing, turns out at some long ago time, I disabled some unusued ...

Re: Dash 2 channel name issue from DL1
All my PC's are now Win 10. When formatting it gives an option of FAT, FAT32, NTFS. I thought FAT was OK? Or does Win 10 screw that up?

Dash 2 channel name issue from DL1
Hi All I have had this problem previously, but this time I would like to resolve it if I can. I have a DL1 Mk 2, and a DASH 2 display in a Lotus 7 replica. I have just fitted a couple of brake rotor temp sensors (single channel each), 1 rear and 1 front. I set up the channels in the DASH 2 package a...

Re: Powering DASH2
Excellent, means I can tidy that area up a little and get rid of the cross coupling in the wire bundles

Graph limits for default layout
With the multi-graph default section in Analysis, it always 'auto scales' and these cannot be manually set that I can see? Am I missing something simple?
Hopefully this below image clarifies.

Setting up "Math Channels"
Hi Guys Recently I put a brake temp sensor on the car and in analysis was able to define an equation through variable manager, external input, pick that input and edit the Sensor type/units tab. I put an equation in of the form (var_0207-0.5)*200 which worked out fine. Now a couple of months later I...

Data feed through to DL2 card
Hi All I remember reading about feeding a serial datastream straight through the DL2 to its data card, which is how my current ECU data is logged. The question is can I with an appropriately tagged data stream pass data through at a mush higher rate that the DL2 can capture normal data at. EG. An Ar...

Gear calculation error with Analysis 8.5?
Hi all Just upgraded from Analysis 7.5 to 8.5. In general it has some nice features, pity I could not work out how to take my calibrations with me rather than having to re-enter them all, such is life. Just processed my first hillclimb for the season and there seems to be an issue with the gear indi...

GMT + Offset Displayed on DASH2
There is an OLD thread about people wanting to view GMT from the Satalite + the local offset. At the time (2005) it seemed this was not possible, in 2013 with a DL1 and a DASH2, is it possible. If so, how to calculate the offset value? I had a play about 12 months ago and could not make sense of it ...

Thanks for the reply, but I was not specifically wanting to zoom into the track map itself, but a section of the data displays. For example, say I have Long accel, Lat accel, and rpm shown on screen for a lap of a track and I want to have a quick look a small section of this data in more detail. The...
