hi.. wondering if you can help me out.. i was wondering if i could pick up my speed from the gearbox speed sensor or anywhere else off my car without purchasing a speed sensor.. (celica gt4)

ive worked out im in need of a 100ohm .5watt resistor as im only connecting one sensor.. hopefully this will sort my weird calibration issues out. now just the silly rev light issue to sort... :evil:

1, can somebody please tell me how to configure the dam things!! I'm picking up rpm signal ok which is showing on the dash 2 but when rev'd nothing till 4k.! I'm set at 7000 rpm limit and I'm on 2 pulse engine. I have no issues inputting the data just ain't got a frigging idea 2, I've wired in my fu...

Reflash issue..

Just tried to reflash my dash 2 to install the latest update but have managed to freeze the unit. Reading on here is says reinstall the previous.. Were do I find any previous software updates to try? Also how do you configure the USB adapter so it doesn't keep failing?

:oops: problem solved.
A very small slither of carbon fibre in the screw connector causing a short.! Million to one or what.!!

Yes.. Voltage drops to 0v once pressed. Already checked red wire voltage and that's 12.56 volts.

Getting 5v 5v 3v 1v. Over 4 switches. I've removed all wiring back to loom and checked again... Same results.

switch buttons

Has anybody got a fix for x4 switch buttons not working.? I had them working but for some reason they have stop responding.. checked all wiring connections ect but now i can't change anything with them...

So will I need to install regulators on all the analog inputs and the 5v ref?? Sorry I'm a little stupid when wirings concerned.

Will this do the job? Max out put 5v/50Ma.. Just needs wiring inline from a 12v power source?

For dash 2 installation in a Toyota celica gt4 st185. 1992. Would Putting in the linear voltage regulators enable me to connect to 12v? What other 5v could be uses? ( generally)
