Sending serial data to DL1 MkII
Good morning, I have a question about sending serial data to a DL1 for it to include in a log file. We currently have a DL1 MkII in our endurance car, connected to an arduino fitted with a custom shield which has one RS232 channel and two CAN channels. The RS232 channel decodes the serial stream fro...

Re: DL1 not logging RPM or Analogs
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your response.
I rather suspected that might be the case. I'll contact sales and get it sent back to you. No point in having a spare if it can't be used as a spare !
Regards,
Gareth

DL1 not logging RPM or Analogs
Hi, I have 3 DL1 MKII's, 2 of which all appear to be functioning normally but the third one isn't logging any analog channels or RPM. I have the same SETUP.BIN file in all 3 of them. (Analog 1 to 8 100Hz Flash Card - 1Hz Serial, RPM 100Hz Flash Card - 10Hz Serial) When I look at the serial data in L...

Re: Ony seeing 'New Sector Time" at lap marker
Sorry, rookie mistake !
In my .lap file I'd allocated markers at the sector points, but not actually allocated sectors between the markers.
Once I did that I started getting channel 4 at each marker with Data 1 containing the marker number as expected.

Ony seeing 'New Sector Time" at lap marker
Hi, I have a DL1 MK2 that I'm currently setting up in time for this years Belcar Endurance championship. This may well just be my misunderstanding but is the serial port supposed to send out channel 4 (New Sector Time) every time I cross a matched marker or will it only do it at the lap marker? I'm ...

Re: DL1 Serial Refresh Rates
Hi, I did a bit of playing around with a variable frequency square wave and as you say the refresh rate massively increases once there is new data to display, it seems the DL1 is cleverer than we thought :D Regards RPM, yes, of course, there is no way for it to output a frequency of zero. If I'd had...

DL1 Serial Refresh Rates
Hi, We have a DL1 logger hooked up to our own analysis software via the serial port at 115200 BAUD Its taken a while to decode the serial stream but that's all up and working now, no real issues there, however we don't seem to be getting anywhere near the refresh rates that are set up in the logger....
