Re: DL1 MK1 No Longer Recording on CF Card

Have you tried re-formatting the cards?

Re: Oil pressure warning DL1+ Dash 4

Another option, if you want to see a displayed value instead of triggering the flashing RPM/warning lights, is to use a conditional (display on value) readout... could have this simply be the oil pressure popping up on your screen only if it becomes an issue... or I've used a bitmap graphic that sai...

Re: Oil pressure warning DL1+ Dash 4

Certainly - did this on mine - same setup as you, Mk2 DL1 and Dash4. I created a user-defined channel I called "GaugeWarning" with the following definition: ((VAR_0010>5000) and (VAR_0200<1.5)) Where VAR_0010 is RPM and VAR_0200 is oil pressure (in bar). This, naturally, goes to a value of...

Still broken...

Further update on this, was cleaning up some erroneous alarms that were showing up in my dash... and lost my shift lights on one side again. This despite using my declared workaround above, not copying shift lights. Thankfully, I have now learned to ALWAYS check that shift lights are working properl...

Fixed

Definitely running in English, myself... Filtering was the problem. Sorta. No filtering was set, but smoothing was. Removed the smoothing, had pure integer data. I'm actually having better results with round than with int, but this could well be my sensor. Added a max rate of change to effectively f...

Re: Problem with Lap and Sector markers

Have you perhaps selected the option selected to automatically add lap and sector markers?

I'm trying to remember where exactly the option is, maybe under Analysis options...

Re: Dash4 config - shift lights not configuring properly

Update on this - ran again this past weekend, this time configuring the RH lights separately, not using the "copy LH settings" button but configuring them independently to the same settings, and both sides worked fine as intended. So that works as a workaround; just don't use the "cop...

Re: Lap counter not displaying

I'd also wonder about the dash config itself, is there any chance the wrong variable is lined up with the display object for the dash layout?

I don't know what the correct one is, I've never used that function, but I've seen similar issues arise with layouts...

Re: All green lights

Bump to this - maybe we can revisit this option, to have all green shift lights?? The green colour is of course far more visible/apparent to the human eye, this would really help for the open-cockpit usage as I have. Since I'm already driving so many (bugfix) changes to the Dash4 config software any...

Dash4 config - shift lights not configuring properly

Just an FYI for any others who are running into it - had some substantial issues trying to get shift lights working this past weekend on my new Dash4, have opened a ticket with Support. Am running the latest and greatest firmware and config SW, with a recently purchased dash (hardware). Initially I ...

Re: DL1 Mk2 Logging Help

Running a Mk2 here myself, only with Dash3 originally and now upgraded to a Dash4. Usually the "Start Logging" is the generic start of logging message... but when you have a lap/sector file on the CF card for the logger to use, the message "Track Marker Added" seems to be display...

Re: Dash4 config - inconsistent custom equations for analogs, not loading properly - Log-based equation

Cool, thanks! My workaround was adequate (but painful) this weekend, and I had good temp readouts all weekend.

Shift lights, now that's another one... gotta verify and possibly update firmware, but will open another thread for that...

Dash4 config - inconsistent custom equations for analogs, not loading properly - Log-based equation

Just a warning to other users, those running the Dash4 configs with custom-defined sensors... I'm having an issue with mine where the custom equations are not saving properly when saving and re-loading a config file (.cmg) using the current latest-and-greatest config SW. The equation is functional w...
