What gear ratio data are you actually using? Can you type here exactly what you write in the config software? Gear ratios should be other type where 1st ~= 3.5, and not 0.28. Same for final drive (your number will be around 3, not 0.something). Wheel circumference will be in the region of 1.9m Any m...

83.59 * 0.34^2 + 123.93 * 0.34 = 51.7 Use brackets so that the calculation is done in the right order. (83.59 * VAR_0217 * VAR_0217) + (123.93 * VAR_0217) That should work. If in doubt with equations always ALWAYS do it manually to see where the problem is. It takes seconds to type 0.34 * 0.34 * 83....

Simulated lap times
Where can I find info on how to use this? Have enabled car power and torque, and corner radii, and made sure my vehicle options are reasonable, but it just shows n/a on the lap/sector times table.

I'd have thought that anything WITH an 'i' in the 80s would have been undesirable with the dodgy and restrictive metering of the time. A nice set of carbs would almost certainly unleash some power, without hurting economy (much) or driveability. But I suppose it does depend slightly on the specific ...

Calculated wheel speed
I'd very much like to work out my wheel speed from RPM and gear ratio data to compare with GPS speed. I'm hoping it will show up wheel slip and spin if I'm lucky, which will help with my driving and setting up of the car. I can make my own variable, but can't work out how to get the numerical value ...

It would be a great feature to be able to select the theoretical lap as the x-axis, either as time or distance, and then be able to plot variables on that. Sure there might be discontinuities, but that isn't the end of the world, and it would demonstrate very quickly as easily how believable the the...

Went racing at the weekend. Just before I left I updated to the latest version of Analysis (uninstall using RTs start menu link, then configured paths and settings as per normal). Did my sessions. Went to check stuff on the laptop, and was told that my IF functions were invalid, and that the equatio...

IF(1,2,3) can't work... The first part is the check - see if a state exists. Typically this is something like if(var_x>40,...). As you'll notice 1 isn't a check, so it doesn't know if the answer is true or false. The second part is the result if true. The third part is the result if false. So, to gi...
