Is your track near a military installation? The one place it doesn't work for me isn't far from and air force base. Works for other tracks for me.

Go to the settings window, and click the test button. Does it download a map?

If you switch to street maps, as opposed to satellite maps, does it work?

I think it got better after a firmware update. I forget which one. Has worked well for the last few races. I use the satellite imagery to place my start finish line, and the lap times line up very well with the official timing and scoring results.

I did find that if you close the run manager after each time you set the marks, it seems to work. Or at least it's been working for a little while now. I'm afraid to open the run manager at this point.

Yes, saw that when it was too late. Turns out that you can "level" the DL1mkII by doing some combo of pressing "C" and space or enter. Not documented, so I'm not sure exactly what it takes, but I somehow got it set to about 30 degrees off of level, and have it fixed now by follow...

Nope, I used a static sample to zero the accels, and then tried w/ and w/o the "tune accelerometer based on GPS" option. I sent the data files off to gummi... Maybe I should try downgrading the software though...
