The second message I receive when I have a low bandwidth connection.
It seems that the software "thinks" that the connections is that slow that you better should try it later.

Most of my files are synchronous.

But what to do if the files are not?

I would suggest to fit a way to the software to make files synchronous again.

Space is not the final frontier on my computer with 2TB. But drives can fail after a while whereas DVDs seem to last 20 years. So I would like to put a weekend on DVD but with long races and huge practice sessions the space on a DVD is not large enough to cover 16-20GB files. And the software is slo...

I've not seen that problem before. So are you used the convertor there was an error in the data/video sync? You didn't do anything else to the video file?

Some files I'd worked with an external encoder but some I didn't.
All shows asynchrony after compressing.

Thank you.

What kind of video files can be imported to Analysis?

The software don't like its own mp4 files.

Any other files can be imported instead of the VD4?

My Dashware don't need a video and can compare several laps from the csv-files.

So what is needed for Racetechnology is a csv -> RUN converter :-)

I found Dashware last week. They can import csv from other loggers if you tell the software how the CSV datas are arranged.

This is quickly done and then I can compare older sources with new ones.

Thank you. Does that data get asynchron from that?
I have a delay of 8.5 seconds on the first file I compressed.

The data is from video4 but it was worked on with an encoder to burn them on DVD.
Seems that the data has been changed somehow so that it is wrongly attached to the logger data.

Any Idea?

How do I reduce the video file size.

After burning videos I would like to store the *.VD4 together with the *.run files to have them usable for the analysis software.

Is there a opportunity to shrink that stuff to make it more handy?

The Video is the data about 8.5 seconds ahead.

Any suggestions?

I know a few things about race lines but the trouble starts when things like

the driven distance,
braking into corners,
double apex,
off camber corners

do influent the driving more than the theoretical race line you would chose.

'When to switch over to a different line to gain speed?
