Do you have it connected to a DL-1? I make all my config changes to my DASH-2 via the CF card.

I'd be interested in an answer to this, too. I'm in the same situation: laptop has an SD slot and I hate toting around the USB card reader. As you've found, the DL1s cannot use Type II CF cards (time to evolve to SD and/or micro-SD slots, RT...) and I've yet to find a CF1-to-SD adapter (no reason fo...

As a final follow-up...as I was repairing these wires today, it was apparent that these pins were not installed correctly. The tips were were soldered into the pins, however the stress-relief was not crimped over the insulated wires. I'm actually shocked that these wires lasted as long as they did b...

For future reference, Kyle referred me to the "correct" tool: m I found a cheaper way to do the same thing by bending a 1/16" aluminum cotter pin so that both legs could be inserted top and bottom. Pushed it in, pins popped right out. Trying to decide how I'm going to strengthen these...

De-Pin Oil Temperature Sensor?

Anyone know how to de-pin the plug for the oil temperature sensor? Both the wires on the connector fatigued and I need to repair them, can't figure out how to get the pin out. BTW, the wires on that sensor harness are just too fragile. In 4 years of racing this setup I've gone through three wiring h...

I was actually looking forward to trying it on a Microsoft Surface tablet but...no bueno. Windows RT does not run x86 apps.

I'm glad I got this thing for free; I won't feel bad leaving it in the desk drawer in perpetuity.

Ditto to all the above. Bricked my DASH2, but those drivers worked. Didn't take 30 tries, but I held my breath through #6 and it worked.

Hoo-boy...this ought to be fun to see how the racer market takes to that. I can tell you that one of R-T's big selling points - at least in the amateur club racing market - has been their software. Racers are willing to pay a high price for the hardware, with the knowledge that the vendor will conti...

Has anyone bothered to ask why "free" software needs to be made into crippleware? What's the point, other than to force gathering of users' private information? Why do the customers, who have already purchased the product and are only asking to download the appropriate support software for...

Re: v8.2 wont register

Ditto. Sent a note to R-T sales (their support email isn't working), got no response.

Pretty egregious oversight, IMO.
