Hello,

This sensor has the same calibration as our standard water/oil temp sensor.

http://www.race-technology.com/wiki/ind ... librations

To select this calibration simple select the NTC temp sensor (Bosch 0280130026) from the drop down menu.

(This calibration requires 5v and 1K pull up resistor to be used.

Kind regards,

I can add a bit more onto that.... Our start/stop trigger cable works in the same way as the cam-do adapter, unfortunately neither work will all cameras... as for why, you would need to talk to GoPro about this! We cannot complain to them as it is not a supported feature. If the cable doesn't work t...

Yes it is, drop me an email and I can send you a screenshot of it. As it doesn't really offer any new features to the DASH2 it is getting pushed back by developments on other products were we ARE adding significant new features. It is making slow progress though.

Hi Kyle, Please drop me an email to discuss further, but from what I can see the Cam-do is something which plugs in to the back of the GoPro as an interface and will enable us to start/stop the unit with a control input. For quite a few GoPro units we can do that already, we can also synchronise man...

Hi there, It is great to hear that you are thinking of upgrading to our DASH2 PRO. The unit has been available to purchase for almost two years now. The unit has received very rigorous testing and regular firmware updates to filter out bugs and improve overall performance in this time. Serial ECU in...

Hi Matthias, The DASH2 PRO does indeed work with the VIDEO4 in exactly the same way as your DL1. There are slight differences to how they should be connected compared to your current setup but other than that it is a very straight forward swap. Any further questions please email me on sam@race-techn...

The only way you could have something odd happening is if you have the speed configured to come from both the RS232 and from the internal sensor. If not then the distance is just calculated by adding up the speed values at regular intervals. It doesn't make any difference which speed source is used....

Very odd. I have just checked on the firmware that I am working on, at a constant speed of 180mph 10 miles was clocked up in 3:22. Given the errors in my timing this certainly looks to be correct.

It is possible that there is a bug in the firmware which converts from the speed to the distance. This firmware hasn't changed for around 8 years, but that doesn't mean it can't be wrong. I am doing some work on the DASH2 firmware now so will take a look.

Hi, Generally the dash is well protected in this area. It is possible that damage could occur but it is quite unlikely. Keep an eye on the unit. If you notice anything strange during operation please get in touch and we will arrange for the unit to be sent to our offices for inspection. Regards, Sup...

Unfortunately somebody has been a bit too keen on getting some documentation written. These features are not yet available. They will be in the next firmware release.
