This from another thread :- "the firmware is now included in the configuration, so there is no separate firmware file. When you reconfigure, it will also update the firmware and even the bootloader if required". So, once you create a configuration in the new config program and try and uplo...

OK, thanks. Is there a way to display a predictive laptime that updates continuously, not just at each sector marker? RT Tech Support beat me to the first one but to answer your above question there is no way that I know of ... but there are better ways to provide the sort of info you are looking f...

Jim, Best thing to do is to load up the V4 Configuration program and bring up virtually any one of the Factory Layouts (The GT one has speed, rpm and gear) and see how its done. You can even load one of the factory layouts over the top of your own (it merges the two) and just use Copy & Paste. G...

Chris, Awesome sound!! Anyway, see your problem. You can get it further forward if you use an extension bar, see the screengrab below. The yellow is the width of your current view, a 6" bar will probably get you somewhere near the green. You then lose quite a bit of dark and replace it with lig...

Chris, Not really I'm afraid, none that will do what you want. There are brightness and contrast settings you can alter 'per camera' in the V4 Configuration program but it's a balance issue. Bulletcams have very basic white balance, they essentially look at the scene and the more dark there is in th...

Chris, It's a "white balance" issue and and is common with all bulletcam systems. The only way to minimise this is to move the camera further forward so you have less interior and more exterior in the shot. You can buy extension bars from camera mount companies (such as dogcam in uk). Maxx

There are 2 hardware options when you download the VIDEO4 Firmware update and these were to combat this issue where some displays showed video as monochrome. It does mean reflashing your VIDEO4 so if you are nervous of this then maybe live with the mono display but if you want to do it, download the...

Hello Matthias, I can't answer the dash question but, as the author of the video you linked to I can answer that question. The video is "post-processed" in that I added the overlay after the video was captured. I have generally always done it this way as it provides greater flexibility (i....

Here you go :-

http://www.driver-coaching.com/files/oultonlap.zip

There are 2 x .lap files in there, the UPPER CASE ONE is for a dash and just has 2 sectors, the other one I ue for Analysis.

What variable is it? You could try the smoothed over option. I typically use 0.3 for lat/long accel which does give a smooth curve BUT sometimes you might not want this smoothing out. We discovered a subtle misfire once by noticing something similar to what your trace looks like on long accel. The r...

Hi,

Not sure which variable we are looking at but Interpolation options are now in the Variable Manager.

Open the Variable and click Advanced Options and you should see it there.

ml,

AFAIK You don't have to uninstall first, you can just do the re-install over the top and you get to re-do the swap file where you can increase the size.

ml, I'm not 100% sure what you are asking but are you looking to reverse the direction of the line movement? i.e. rather than the lateral G line moving to the right when you turn right you want the line to go LEFT (i.e. the direction of the g-force)? I do this on this video : m What I do is, in Vari...
