There are certainly a number of video editors that will open a VD4 file if you rename it to .MPG - I think I did hear however that AP wasn't one of them. It most definitely will open in the freely available VirtualDub software. All you need do is browse for all file types and select the VD4 directly...

Thats VERY odd, the run file in it is called "S300-MALC-JLM.RUN" is that the one you are loading. I've tried it here and it's def 300, have also re-downloaded the .zip and all seems OK.

You sure you are not downloading/unzipping the earlier Snett200.zip file ??

I would think it's more likely that the power was turned off on the DL1 before the Stop Logging button was pressed or you had an intermittent power problem. Another option is if the card was removed too quickly after stop logging or even without having pressed stop logging.
