Thanks for you help paul, I'm now able to add that formula, but if I look at the oil pressure in the values table it reads around 7000psi, strange as it's perfect on my dash2 reading around 50 - 60psi

Thanks Paul, but I still can get it working, I've tried the following but getting an error:

83.59 * analog 18 * ananlog 18 + 123.93 * analog 18

83.59 * OilPressure * aOilPressure + 123.93 * OilPressure

The sensor is connected to Analog 18, which I have renames OilPressure.

Adding formula's to vaiables in Analysis

I've got my sensors sesors setup and working with my dash2, but I can't remember the values for the sensor which I'm using. The formula it created is this

what is the syntax to use the same formula in RT Analysis?

Thanks

I also noticed the same problem, although it happends in 4th gear for me, as I have no 5th :( and I'm using the dash2 with dl1

I get the same results if the dash2 takes it's speed from gps via dl1 or wheel speed sensor.

Tyre Pressure & Tempreture Monitoring

Has anyone seen these cheap TPMS systems on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AVE-TIRE-PRESSURE-MONITORING-SYSTEM-UNIVERSAL-TPMS_W0QQitemZ360087089971QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116 Has anyone tried to see if these can be modifed to output voltage / CAN Bus so it could be connected to a DL1? At this...

Changing decimal points on Variables

Quick quetsion,
A lot of my values shown in RT Analysis are shown with 5 digits after the decimal point. How can I change this to make it easier to read? ideally some values I would like only 1 or 2 digits after the decimal point.

Cheers

I'm not using thermcouples, but the air temp sensors I'm using are not the solid type (which I found to be a lot slower)

This is the type I'm using

Strange values on Dash2 / DL1

Around 50% of the time when i first turn on my DL1 & Dash 2 (via the same switch) I find on my my sensors reads -3217 degrees, this value will always stay the same until I power cycle the units.

Any ideas what causes this?

Cheers

it's only a 1312cc engine (a series) in a mini, running around 20psi boost. Yes the turbo is quite small, but love the quick spool up on it.

At the moment my ACT are sapping power as my ecu is retarding ignition timing when the ACT's rise.

Temperature drop across intercooler

This is not really a question to do with RT, but you all seem to be a knowledgeable helpful lot so I thought I'd ask anyway. After looking at my data logging, I have found out that my air charge temp before my intercooler is around 127 degrees, and after is around 65 degrees. (Ambient air temp aroun...

mine is pointing forwards, (eg memory card pointing to rear of car, so heavy braking will not cause it to come out. I was thinking of a velcro strap around it?
