Re: change reading from bar to psi ?

Should be able to change the formula in the setup page.

I have 2 Dash2 config. files, one displaying gallons of fuel, and one for litres when i'm abroad. Obviously, the sensor is sending the same values, it's only the formula for the display that's different.

Are you using a RT sensor loom? If so, no.

Have you checked the workshop manual? The full and empty resistances are normally published for diagnostic purposes.

When you save the config file to a newly-formatted card, is the file being written to the card?

You can't retrieve the settings stored in the Dash2.

You can load from a saved file but not the settings in the Dash2 itself.

I've changed the Dash2 config. both ways - via CF card and serial cable.

Try version 8. Had no problems connecting to my Dash2 and DL1 with version 8.

I tried 8.5 last week and couldn't connect to anything.

Needless to say, version 8 has been reinstalled.

Have you set the source for speed sensor to be "internal" and not "RS232"?

Are you sure your sensor is 5V? The RT sensor needs 12V:

Cycles to screen 1.

And "Previous" button on screen 1 will cycle to screen 5.

http://aemelectronics.com/files/instruc ... 20Data.pdf gives you voltage v pressure.

No resistor needed. Just connect to channel of your choice and use the RT software to setup the sensor from the graph.

Or send me an email to noblem500 (at) gmail.com and i'll reply with info.

Connecting Dash2/DL1 to ECU Temp Sensors

Can i tap into the existing temp sensors that feed into the engine ECU, or will the pull up resistors upset the resistances seen by the ECU?
