Re: Dash2 Equation for kPa to psi
Dan
Thank you for your prompt reply.
So the lookup table will work with values other than actual measured voltages!
I didn't realise the solution was as simple as it is!
Excellent! Thanks again!

Dash2 Equation for kPa to psi
MoTeC M4 with RT serial adaptor to DL1 and Dash2. ECU outputs manifold pressure in kPa. I want to display boost in psi. I can't create an equation from a table as i don't have voltages to input. So i need to enter a equation that reflects the conversion from kPa to psi. Can anyone give me the equati...

Re: LCD Screen not lighting
You appear to have the pins mirrored vertically.
Check out the diagram page 8.
e.g. pin 14 (fog light) is in mirrored position of pin 7 (main beam)

Re: LCD Screen not lighting
If i remember correctly, there are two firmware versions for Dash2:
a) backlight is only lit when sidelight input (connector2, pin1) is 12V+ve
b) backlight is permanently lit when unit is switched on
Do you know which version you have?

Re: Alternator warning light wire.
You need to connect the Dash2 alternator warning light wire to the warning light (WL) wire on your alternator. It is an earth source, not live! When the alternator is not charging, the WL output wire is earthed inside the alternator. The alternator bulb in the regular dash is live on the other side ...
