Frequency input timeout
Hello, In my opinion, the DL1 and DL2 suffer both from a frequency measurement bad design. Normally, when measuring frequency with a time delay between pulses, if the time between two pulses is greater than a timeout (user defined), the frequency should be assumed equal zero. Actually, there seems t...

Reset pulse count
Hello,
Is there anyway to reset the pulse count on a DL1 (F1 to F4 inputs) without powering off the DL1?
I use the wheel pulse count to compute the travel distance from start.
It should be great to reset them when we start logging.
Regards

Re: CtrlOP 4 still ON
Thank you so much Racetec!
Output4 was configured to display the log status on a led but it was not connected.
It's strange an, I thing, not normal that a not connected output cause an error. Does it exist a current sensor on these output drivers?

CtrlOP 4 still ON
Hello,
I actually meet a problem with the tandem DASH4pro Oled and DL1 MK3.
The Dash4 always send me the error message "CtrlOP 4 still ON".
I've searched on the forum and on the net without any success.
Someone have an idea?
Regards

Dash4pro oled configuration software
Hello, I'm using a Dash4pro and have installed the last software bundle (v8.5). When I search for the dash configuration software, I only find the v2.1.1. (my DASH4 has actually the firmware v1.0.21 !) I also didn't found anywhere to download the last version on the website. Is there any way to conv...

Accelerometer calibration DL1
Hello, I use a DL1MKIII + Dash4 oled. I need to use both accelerations measurements in real time (user variables which compute power, ...). When I put the DL1 on an absolutely horizontal state, the accelerometer display -.12G long and 0.15G lat (with a 2G max, they are 6% and 7.5% wrong). Due to the...

Thank you for this response. Is the range of the DL1MK3 is 24V or 12V and protected till 24V (as the DL2)? The max analogue value is 65535 (instead of 4096); does it mean that you oversample and mean with 16 bits resolution from an 12bits ADC? The +-12V range is interesting if electric car with curr...

DL analog range and resolution
Hello, The 12 bits analogue inputs of the DL2 are 12V range and protected till 24V. I've seen that the DLMK3 analogue inputs have an input range of 24V. Does it mean that the resolution of the DL2 is 2,93mV (12/2^12) and the DL1 is only 5,8mV (24/2^12)? It's not clear in the tech_specs of the DL1. I...

CAN decoding dbc or can standard definition file
Hi, I would like to test my DL1MKIII in my Hyundai Getz. I will use the OBDII connector + an db9 adpater. Is there anybody who have a .dbc or .can (standard or specific to huyndai) file to import into the DL1 configuration program? Perhaps, the dbc file given by RT would work? Best regards ecoelec

GPS raw decode pdf
Hello,
I want to test the dl1 as an standard serial GPS receiver and decode it into an FPGA board. Is it possible without decoding all the RT frames?
I'm also interested in the GPS format PDF file if possible.
Best regards.
Jean-Michel

DL1/2 Serial data input
Hello, I develop an ECU (with PIC33F) for an electrical vehicle (Fuel Cell powered). The vehicle is equipped with DL2 measuring data like motor current and voltage (DC). The PIC is linked, via RS232, with DL2. It can capture and decode incoming data. It also accepts other informations of various num...

Hi everybody, I'm also interested to know all about the CAN communication of the DL2 (protocol, ...). I need to develop a Energy meter with a PIC33F (for an electric car) and i whant to send measured datas to the DL2 with CAN in order to log them with GPS position. I'll also buy a Fuel cell wich sen...
