.... My speed leveled out for a while. I was able to put 8-10 laps down within 0.2-3 seconds easy, but those laps where still 5-7 seconds slower then I should be. .... That is the problem I'm fighting with. I'm very consistent with my driving, like you do, and quite fast too as I'm somewhere on the...

How to get the results back on the track

The main problem for me is, I now have a sophisticated analyzing tool but how do I read and use that tool to make myself faster? I watched your support video to get a first overview but how to use it at best? I look on the graphs but what is important? Do I have to work on the car, or more on the dr...

No, but you might be able to output CSV files from RT data and compare with excel or something similar I hoped the software would provide an exchange file format so that an upgrade to the race technology system would not cut off the whole data collecting in "before" and "after"....

Hi Maxx,

I tried that too but these software has difficulties to work with the files. Seems that there are fragments inside the files that disturb.

After I demuxed and remuxed the files and rewritten the header the software accepted the videos to work with.

Thanks again!

You should only start logging after you have GPS lock. I use the autostart based on speed (DL1 Configure Speed >500; note the units are in 1/10 kph) for my track use, that insures I have GPS lock and that I don't get log files just moving the car around in the paddock. I also use the autostart at 2...

An hour ago I was out with the car again for testing to make markers. I did switch on the equipment OUTSIDE the garage and look at that, the Dash3 did make about 10 markers down the road and back. Does it make a difference if the loggers are switched on inside a garage or pit and then I drive outsid...

It is the first time I tried to add markers on a normal ride through the country side. I have assigned a button to do this and after pressing the message occurred. The whole equipment is very new, I bought it by Emotag Germany and they told me that the newest firmware was put on. The equipment is no...

Okay - now it is getting complecated: If I disconnect the video 4 and update the DASH3 over DL1 then it takes over the changes. If I start it together with the video4 then the current config is overwritten to the old version. If I disconnect the v4 again then the new config is read again from the CF...

Update:

I formatted down the CF card from FAT 16 to FAT, disconnected the power line to the Video4 unit.
Plugged in the CF card and it updated the config.

Thank you!

Thank you for reply.
So I have to disconnect the DL1 from the Video 4 (or is it enough to shut off the video4).
I'll test it.

And I did....if I put in the Fat 16 card to the DL1 nothing happens.

Dash3 configuration updating - not always possible

Hello, I'm using a Dash3, DL1 and Video4 equipment. From time to time I want to change screens on my Dash 3 but it often refuses to accept the DASH.HEX file. I stuck the CF card into the video4 slot, then after about 10 seconds the Dash screen shut its background light off and in most cases a "...
