Re: Fuel gauge help

That sounds entirely possible. You can use a lookup table mapping from one of the analogue inputs to an auxiliary channel for the display. The input would be the voltage and the output can be the percentage, litres, whatever you want. 1.9 0 some numbers in between 0.28 100 You must have a pullup res...

Re: engine malfunction warning and OE oil pressure switch warnings.

You should just be able to connect those input signals directly to the analogue inputs on the DASH2 PRO and look at the voltages in the Analysis software to confirm that they are operating correctly.

Re: engine malfunction warning and OE oil pressure switch warnings.

The analogue inputs on the DASH2 PRO have very weak pull downs on the inputs. So you need to make sure that the inputs are actively driven high by the ECU.

Re: Airspeed/Pressure Differential Sensing

I am not sure what you mean on the four pin connector. The one with the SCL and SDA pins is an I2C sensor which you can not connect to the DL1, there is no way it can communicate directly with that. If the sensors need a 5v supply then you will be fine with the output from the DL1, this is a well re...

Re: Backup existing data/config in Dash2

All that you will be able to see is what channels are configured on the different screens. You won't be able to see things like alarm settings. If you go in to the menu you will be able to see the settings for the things like the number of pulses per mile for the speedometer. These are the sort of s...

Re: sensors

Not much information to go on there, but it sounds like the DL1 isn't outputting any data. Can you see the DL1 is operating as expected?

Re: Backup existing data/config in Dash2

One of the big upgrades from the older firmware to the new one is the ability to read back the configuration from the unit. Unfortunately you can't do this with the older firmware so you will just have to note down the settings from looking at the screen and make up the new one from that if you don'...
