Video4 Steering Angle

I am using an analog channel for the steering angle (string pot wrapped around steering column).

I figured out how to create an image of a steering wheel with a control variable. Is there a way to have the image rotate according to the control variable?

Video4 2nd source at 100%

I am awaiting my Video4 and am trying to get ahead of the curve... In the Video Configuration Editor... How do I add a second video source at 100%? i.e. a PIP with 100% scaling and cropping? In my races there is as much of interest going on behind me as there is in front. I would like to have a spli...

Don't wire them in parallel or you will get strange results. If one of the senders goes to 0 ohms (short), then the parallel reading will also be zero regardless of how much fuel is on the other side of the tank.

I've had a couple and they both seemed to do it. I always wondered if it had a light sensor that turns the backlight on when it gets dark.

VIO POV Video Recorder

Has anyone been able to get the video from the VIO POV.1 video recorder to work with the Analysis software? I do have the video integration license. There was an issue on the PC (XP) with editing and codecs. The problem was an incomparability with DivX and Editing software (like Premier). When I reb...

Saving settings after software upgrade

Every time I upgrade the Analysis software I have to recreate all the settings in the Variable Manager. Is there a file I can back up before upgrading so I don't have to do this every time?

Leaving the setup.bin on the card at all times fixes it for me. I've not had the problem since.

I've had similar problems and for me it's usually the card. Try reformatting it FAT on the PC. Also. -don't boot the PC with the card mounted -don't shut down the PC with the card mounted -right click Eject on the card in Explore before removing from the PC - I think it flushes the buffers -turn the...

I also had some problems that turned out to be a bad sensor. All has been fine since replacing it.

I bought one and it does work - but not in the DL1. The one I bought turned out to be a type II card meaning it is thicker and will not fit the type I slot in the DL1. I'm not sure if there are others that are type I and if there are then they might work. But be sure to check that. I bought it becau...

If you mean pressing the down button the place a beacon, I could never get that to work reliably. Though I have not tried in a couple of firmware updates. I have had more luck creating them in Analysis and loading a LAP file on the card.

Did it work?

Looking at specs they seem pretty slow. Though for the DL1 thay may be fast enough. No way they will do video <1MB/s.

I suspected this might have been causing me trouble too so I made an external reference. It's really easy, is good up to 1A, and costs about 25¢ in parts.

Google "7805 voltage regulator"

I've been having similar problems with DL1/Dash2 lately. Also at Sebring too. 1) The lap times would work for a few laps then start over as if they had done a complete lap. I've also had problems where it will refuse to start logging. I need to turn it off and back on and even then sometimes it stil...

No serial number in data stream

I've been unable to sync video to my data for some time now. I've replaced the codes.bin file a couple of times but just noticed this: . Firmware version 15-5. Data logged on 17/01/2009 @ 21:00. No logger serial number is available in the data stream. Run Contains 2423189 individual data samples, an...
