Don't wire them in parallel or you will get strange results. If one of the senders goes to 0 ohms (short), then the parallel reading will also be zero regardless of how much fuel is on the other side of the tank.

If you mean pressing the down button the place a beacon, I could never get that to work reliably. Though I have not tried in a couple of firmware updates. I have had more luck creating them in Analysis and loading a LAP file on the card.

Looking at specs they seem pretty slow. Though for the DL1 thay may be fast enough. No way they will do video <1MB/s.

I suspected this might have been causing me trouble too so I made an external reference. It's really easy, is good up to 1A, and costs about 25¢ in parts.
