Lite Analysis Software Comparison

Postby granracing » Fri Feb 01, 2008 7:42 pm

Hi, I'm new to interpreting my data acq. information and am trying to keep things fairly simple. When downloading the newest software, it contains the standard analysis software and one titled Lite Analysis.

Along with it having less features which might go along with my notion of keeping it simple to start with, I noticed that when viewing the map there's no way to move it up or down like with the standard software (when zooming in, I can't move along the track).

When have you found it useful to utilize this version? Or do you just recommend I use the standard version and simply not get as involved with it as possible?

Hi Dave:

The Lite Analysis is a new idea, basically a response to new users who are sometimes overwhelmed by the number of possible choices, settings, etc.

The difficulty, of course, is knowing what to leave out! Most "power users" probably won't like the Lite version, so a newish user's comments are welcomed.

I think it's a good idea.

Is it a bug that the track map can't be moved around like in the standard version?

I don't think so, most of the simplification consists of omitting features.
