Hi everyone,
Is the RT software W8 compatible?
Or we have to wait for a new version?
I'd like the RT team confirmation before buying a new laptop...

Hi Manuel,
He have yet to test it on a full release version on windows 8. We will make it work if there are any problems.
If any one has used windows 8 with our software please let us know!

I am running it on a full version of Windows 8 Pro x64 and it works fine.

yes - I used it for a while on the office laptop, and didn't see any particular issues...
...now whether you really want to be using w8 64b is a different matter
)
I really tried to like it, but failed and went back to w7 - on a touch device I'm sure it makes sense, but on a laptop/desktop it was just nuts. To be fair if you install an aftermarket start button and disable some of the crazy-ness it's useable, but as standard it just makes no sense whatsoever.

Works fine, I'm using it here. Once you put the start menu back and the gadgets it looks and feels like Win 7.

I was actually looking forward to trying it on a Microsoft Surface tablet but...no bueno. Windows RT does not run x86 apps.
I'm glad I got this thing for free; I won't feel bad leaving it in the desk drawer in perpetuity.

It is true, you will need to run the full version of Windows 8, not the RT version.

Greg, seems to work pretty good on the Surface Pro.
Very easy to pick the close window button instead of the expand but just have click carefully -- would be nice if there were a litte more physical separation between those. I've only used it with the stylus as some of the boxes are to small to try using your finger.
