Hi

I have just purchased a 2nd hand Video 4 unit, however when I go to fire it up the status light remains blinking continuously presumably indicating that the firmware file cannot be located?

Looking at the instruction on the download section of the web site suggests that to update the the firmware I also need a licence.bin file,which I don't have.

I have tried the guy who sold it to me, who does not have it either.

Any pointers as to where I could get this file from?

I believe the license file is only needed if you have optional upgrades installed (4 channel/widescreen for example). If you do, simply email the serial number of your device to RT and they can supply it.
