I have an older DL-1 club that used to connect to GPS, but now won't. All other functions seem to work, it will manually start logging (at least the light will come on indicating so), but the GPS won't show it is connected. I the unit sitting stationary outdoors for an hour and it never hooked up, tried two different antenna's, neither worked.
Is this a reason to reflash the unit?
Is it possible that the internal battery not working is causing this? If so, will replacing it work? I have access to people who can do that level of re-soldering.

Re: GPS lock with older DL-1 Club
Hello,
Reflashing will not help and a discharged internal battery would not explain this either. If you are sure that at least one of the antennas you have used is working, the only option is to return the DL1 to us for inspection and repair.
To arrange this please submit a support form via our support page and someone will get right back to you.

Re: GPS lock with older DL-1 Club
@racetec, what is the original 10-bit 1024 week date on the DL1 Club? Has it reached the end of its epoch, along with the DL1s?
