When looking at the accel data from my DL-1 (old origional version) I was attempting to us it to measure shift times. The graph it is producing is here.

It appears that the accel data is being smoothed in some way. First, does the software or hardware smooth the data? Second, can this be disabled?
I would have expected close to a square wave with a flatter bottom while the cluch was disengaged.
Thanks in advance

In the variable manager there are options for smoothing, filtering and maximum/minimum rate of change. Set all these to 0 (or None, for filtering), and you'll get the values it sees.
However, the rate of change of acceleration is never infinite, so you'll not get a square wave effect.
But it does look as though the default 0.1second smoothing is having an effect, so I'd check that first.
