Rpm logging problm

Hi,
I use a DL1 and a Dash2 on a lotus elise. I have connected the RPM signal to the Dash2 and it display correctly the values of engine speed and all the other values coming from GPS etc. but looks like there is no way to have RPMs logged on the DL1. Do I have to connect RPM signal to the DL1 to have the datas logged ?

Yes, you need to connect the rpm to the DL1 and the DL1 will send the signal to the Dash for displaying
