DL1 Upgrade from 1-1 firmware

Hi, I have an early DL1, and I've just checked the firmware edition and its listed as 1-1 !!! so fairly early then.


Obviously I've never done a firmware upgrade on it, where do i get the latest upgrade and will the latest upgrade work ok on such an early unit.

And whats the advantage in upgrading

Biggest advantage in upgrading is the ability to use the current PC configuration utility to enable features such as autostart.

I'll double check but do not think there are any compatibility issues, basically the firmware splits along Mk1 (twin rear connectors, serial port in front) and Mk2 (single, twin row rear connector, serial port in rear) lines.

I can email the firmware. You will want to use a recent (ie less than 18 months old) Analysis package for the reflash, the old utility was tough to use.
