Back to RT home page from Forum

Postby Turby » Wed Jun 11, 2008 1:11 pm

Would it be possibel to put a logo at the top of the forum pages which takes you back to http://www.race-technology.com/home_2.html ?

Its a PITA to keep re-opening a bookmark to the main page.

There is a nice link above the "New Topic" button, but it points to the wrong place.

 How long has that been there :?:

I suppose we are used to the links above the Message body window when we're typing in the Post a reply screen.

Hardly matters, since it is labeled "FROM the forum" but actually points "TO the forum."

Hey Dan, we haven't told these young tech-heads we're dotty old fellas, have we?

The "nice link" shouldn't be a link at all.
Visit another topic and see what the "home page" link does then!

PS... At least we are not travelling in ever diminishing circles.

This is a good one....
The 'link' you are seeing at the top of the page is just a link to the current message page on the forum. The only reason it says "Back to home page from forum" is because that is the title of this thread. It had me confused until I tried to find it in other threads :-)

I will ask about getting a link put on there, there seems little point having a link to the current page.

Geez, I would NEVER have figured that out!

Good thinking.
