VIO POV Video Recorder

Postby Peter Carroll/Toronto » Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:14 pm

Has anyone been able to get the video from the VIO POV.1 video recorder to work with the Analysis software? I do have the video integration license.

There was an issue on the PC (XP) with editing and codecs. The problem was an incomparability with DivX and Editing software (like Premier). When I rebuilt the PC I installed the Xvid codecs and not DivX. I've had no codec problems since that.

However, whenever I try to sync the POV AVI file to the Analysis software the Analysis just blows up and goes away. Their AVI file is encoded with Xvid.

Has anyone got this working?

VIO POV files work fine for me - suspect a codec problem - try installing the K-Lite codec pack (google search) :?:

It is also worth noting that the latest version of the Analysis Software has a new and improved video import function, which also incorporates a reprocessing function for displaying data on the video feed itself.
