GPS lock LED flickering

Both LEDs, the GPS lock and the Status, are flickering constantly. Is this normal ?

I would have expected the Status LED to flicker and the GPS lock to stay on without flickering, just like the Power LED.

I can't recall the production version/firmware details, but the GPS status in some cases indicates the number of satellites locked.
