Hi,

Has this just stated to happen, or has this feature never worked on your system?

I assume that the DASH3 is connected to a DL1? Are they both fairly new? Do you know what version of firmware you are running on them?

Kind regards,

It is the first time I tried to add markers on a normal ride through the country side.
I have assigned a button to do this and after pressing the message occurred.

The whole equipment is very new, I bought it by Emotag Germany and they told me that the newest firmware was put on.
The equipment is now 2 month old.

Cheers
Chris

An hour ago I was out with the car again for testing to make markers.

I did switch on the equipment OUTSIDE the garage and look at that, the Dash3 did make about 10 markers down the road and back.

Does it make a difference if the loggers are switched on inside a garage or pit and then I drive outside or do I have to switch it on outside the pits?

Cheers
Chris

You should only start logging after you have GPS lock.

I use the autostart based on speed (DL1 Configure Speed >500; note the units are in 1/10 kph) for my track use, that insures I have GPS lock and that I don't get log files just moving the car around in the paddock.

I also use the autostart at 20 kph it should be starting.

Next weekend is the first try at Zandvoort - I hope it works.

The test rides are promising:
