Hey people,

I have been testing my initial installation of a DL1 and I'm unable to retrieve the RPM data from the log. The RPM signal is definately getting to the logger as it shows on the monitor program, but when I stream the data and graph RPM vs time I get a straight line at 500 RPM.

Maybe I'm using the software wrong, but I have been starting at it for a few hours and am getting nowhere.

Any help would be appreciated!

In the Analysis program, under Data > Variable Manager > External Inputs, make sure RPM is enabled.

Also, try logging a run to the CF card and see if you get the RPM that way.

Make sure that you have not disabled RPM logging in the DL1 config utility (though the fact you can see in Monitor suggests not, for the serial port anyway)

And, are you running relatively recent V6 software?
