Emerald K6 and Dash2

I'm new here
I have an Emerald K6 and a Dash2 connected via RT serial-port interface lead...
For these 2 to communicate...
...is it as easy as it sounds?

Hi,
You will need the special cable from Emerald, as they use non-standard pinouts on their ECUs. The lead is supplied as standard by Emerald. Full details are here:

I understand the cable arrangement.
But are there settings in the RT-software I have to tick or change to communicate with the K6?

No, nothing in the software, it is just a case of setting up your DASH2 for whichever variables you wish to view.
