Hi,

Not sure which variable we are looking at but Interpolation options are now in the Variable Manager.

Open the Variable and click Advanced Options and you should see it there.

Thank you, I found it.

But there is no effect, the steps don't disappear.

What variable is it?

You could try the smoothed over option. I typically use 0.3 for lat/long accel which does give a smooth curve BUT sometimes you might not want this smoothing out.

We discovered a subtle misfire once by noticing something similar to what your trace looks like on long accel. The reason it stood out is that we were logging the sister car also which gave a smooth curve.

We knew something was wrong as the cars/drivers should have been on similar times but this one was 1.5 secs off, plus it sounded different asit came past our position on the pitwall.

Of course it could have been a vibration issues in the car or the logger mounting so really we needed the comparative data with the other car.

It did turn out to be a subtle misfire which was not noticable to the driver, when cured the car was back up to speed.

red: longitudinal acc
blue: height front (external sensor)
green: height rear (external sensor)
black: speed

I don't use smoothed, I prefer filtering Butterworth, deep, 5 Hz.
