LAPgen seems to be inoperative.

It seems like a useful addition to RT Analysis for pre-race/session planning.

Anybody use it /getting it to work?

The https://epiphero.com/lapgen/ has stopped working as googlemaps have updated their licensing model which requires you to set up an account and register payment details if you go over a usage limit. This probably explains why it is no longer supported. It is damn handy as you don't have to drive the track before you can generate a file.

You can re-create it but you would need access to a webserver (to access remotely) or install apache locally as it requires using a cgi/perl script to generate the lap file. The cgi directory needs to be executable in the webserver configuration. You would also need to setup a googlemaps api key.. This is free & straightforward to do and as a personal user you'll never ever hit the usage limit..
