DL90-cutting out?

Hi dont know if anybody can help-we've been running a dl90 for a few years in our hilclimb/sprint single seater. We have mounted the unit on a plate that is attached to the floor via 2 small cotton reel rubber mountings. For the past year we have had probs with the unit cutting out mid run-any ideas??? Any suggestions welcome?

Do you have a remote start/stop loggin button? I ended up repositioning mine because I had a heap of hassles getting the thing to stay logging due to a cheap quality switch/wiring combo. If you do, try disconnecting the wire on the back of the unit and see if it still occurs.
