Hello RT,

I'm trying to read the configuration from my DASH4PRO and I'm getting this error:
I also get the same error when loading a saved configuration file.

What does it mean? Even when it says that the configuration was downloaded OK, the software is blank (no data in screens).

The DASH4PRO firware version is 1.0.21

Here are the software versions:

- Race Technology v8.5 - Build 8.5.0329
- DASH4PRO Configuration - PC application v6.0.101, firmware v6.0.29
- DASH4PRO unit firmware 1.0.21

That is the most recent versions of everything, and I'm not aware of any issues with that software/firmware at this time.

The issue is that the firmware on the DASH4PRO is about 7 years old and the latest software cannot read something from it, the only option here is to send a new config from the PC to the DASH4PRO - this will send the new layout, but also the unit will be automatically reflashed to the latest firmware etc.

I was afraid you were going to suggest a new configuration file.

Could I download an older version of the DASH4 software to at least see the old configuration file while I'm creating a new one in the new software?

We do keep previous versions of the software, but I've got nothing that old - sorry, Support (A)

I realized there is an older version of the DASH4 configuration software under the legacy software.

I was able to download the configuration, then created a new one with the latest software.
