Approach for tracks where start line and finish line are not in the same place

What is the best way to log on tracks which have this? Let's take Spa for example. The start line is further towards La Source, but the finish line is 'before' it, soon after the exit to the bus stop.

If you set the lap marker to be at the start line, you should get lap timing that works from lap 1 but the 'wrong' lap times going forwards.

If you set the lap marker to be at the finish line, you will get lap timing that matches the circuit, but you'll have to start logging before you cross the finish line for the grid and discard the first lap.

The second option seems the best at the expense of the first lap.....any other options?

Hello,

in this situation there are two options:

1) Drop the lap marker where the finish line is going to be on the circuit.

2) Use the analysis tool to drop "start of run" & "end of run" markers onto the circuit.
