Please clarify, are you looking for the latest DL1 firmware or V7 of the analysis software?

You can email myself or Al for the latest firmware. V7 analysis software is not released but will be coming out this year.

Is this up on the website anywhere yet? Is there any reason I shouldn't upgrade to this version? What has changed?

Firmware is not yet on the website.

In general terms, V6 and V7 firmware functions very similarly. The big changes wrt earlier versions were support for the Windows based config tools.

One functional change in recent V7 firmware relates to handling of "improper stoppage" - the recent firmware is much less likely to lose data if power is cut while logging.

If you want the latest firmware you can email me at aseim@race-technology.com. If you bought your unit since mid 2006 you probably have the latest firmware already.
