Start/Stop logging troubles

My DL1 is installed on a single seater, the engine induces some vibrations.
when i start engine, my DL1 start itself, without pushing on the button and sometimes stop itself still without pushing button.
if it start after pushing button it seems not to stop itself.
I never set the DL1 to automatically start and stop logging.
What do you think about?
is the system still reliable?

Two thoughts:

Do you have an external start button attached to the DL1? I have heard of instances where apparently that wire would pick up interference and start/stop the DL1.

If not, I'd reflash the DL1 with the latest firmware (email me at aseim@race-technology.com for the firmware, telling me if it the two green connectors on rear + serial in front or the newest single black connector + serial on rear type). Sometimes corrupt firmware can cause this kind of starting and stopping.

After the reflash, you may want to reconfigure the DL1 using recent config software.
