DL1 firmware and other misc Qs...

Hi, I am reinstalling my DL1 in a new race car along with a Dash1 and would like to know if there is a new firmware upgrade while I am at it.

My DL1 serial number is 1253 and the date on the unit is April 18, 2006.

I purchased my Dash1 and sensors from a friend who never used them. I don’t see a firmware version on it.

Since I am redoing everything, I’d like to start with the latest.

Also, How does the dual serial port work when there is a single port on the unit? Do I need to make a brake-out cable?

Do you by chance have an OBD-II interface available yet that will talk to a 1997 BMW M3 with the Euro 3.2L motor?

The european E36 M3's dont have OBD2 not sure about the American models.

Hi Peter:

I'm emailing you the latest firmware.

We can supply a "Y" cable for the serial port, but if you are just running the DL1 + DASH1 you should not need it.

We do not yet have an OBDII interface.
